Meditation, as a spiritual practice, is more about working with the mind, body and spirit training in awareness. Simply working with the mind leads to an improved sense of presence, calm, attentiveness, and an increase in valued human qualities such as empathy and patience.
A lot of things in life are beyond our control, but it’s quite possible to have greater control over our actions and how we respond to the situations we find ourselves in. To do this, we need to cultivate awareness of how the mind, body and spirit works and the ability to main-tain focus. And nothing cultivates awareness better than meditation does. Meditation is to the mind what physical exercise is to the body. Session | $125
Sound baths trigger a phenomenon called “sound healing.” Sound healing has been a healing remedy favored by many cultures for thousands of years.
Everything in the entire universe has vibrations. This includes our bodies as well and every cell in our body vibrates at a particular frequency.
These vibrations lead you deeper into a state of contemplation or relaxation, shutting off your body’s fight-or-flight reflex.
During a sound bath session with Grace, you lie down with a comfortable cushion under your head. Grace then asks you to focus on your breath for a few minutes to relax and then uses healing bowls, to produce different sounds and vibrations, to achieve the right tone and note to open your purpose.
At the end of a session, Grace will guide you back to a feeling of awareness before concluding the sound bath and wishing you well on your journey.
